Part of my live report 19 years ago today just blocks away from Ground Zero, as a hospital braced to receive heavy casualties following the worst terror attack on American soil. A friend of mine was an ER doctor, and sadly told me the hospital was eerily quiet as there were few survivors to treat. As we now face another difficult chapter in our history, I’m reminded of the bravery of our first responders and how we came together as a nation after an unimaginable tragedy. A big salute to our Heroes, and a prayer to all of our loved ones who were lost on that day. #NeverForget 🇺🇸❤️#AmericaStrong #September11 #911NeverForget
We said goodbye to our best friend just 20 days before his 15th birthday. Hard to believe when we first brought Kuma to our house, we thought “What did we just do?!” Rescuing him ended up being one of the best life decisions we ever made. He was just a little pup, but we can’t understate what a tremendous impact he had on our lives. Kuma’s warmth and kind spirit brought our family so much closer. He was with us for holidays and road trips and was an integral part of our life adventures. Kuma brought us joy and laughter. He taught us to be patient, loving, and kind. We were so lucky to be home with him during these past few months. He was our champion. We will miss him very much. ❤️

One of the very last pics I took with my Mom and Dad together. 💜💜 It’s been almost three months since we lost him after being diagnosed with #alzheimers. Due to Covid-19 we still haven’t been able to have his service. #alzheimersawareness month isn’t until November but already @socalzofficial organizers are getting ready for their annual walk at the end of the year. We need to find a cure & raise awareness! Every year the event is @ the @lazoo and during the ceremony everyone is asked to raise their flower based on how they’ve been affected by #alz. It becomes an inspiring sea of spinning flowers of hope. 🌸 Thank you @kevan_watson for challenging me to #Promise2ENDALZ and continue the fight so that one day we can all raise a white flower- which would symbolize the first survivor of #alzheimers. I invite you to join the fight! #EndAlz #alzheimersdisease 👉🏽Link in Bio !
